Tilehurst People’s Local Charity
We are a local, philanthropic, grant-making charity. Our purpose is to prevent or relieve poverty, within our area of operation, for the public benefit.
To achieve this, we provide financial support to people who are in need, hardship or distress.
Ours is one of the few local charities which can make grants of money to families and individuals – for the supply of goods or services. (Exceptionally, we may be able to help with repayment of some debts, although there are certain types of debt we cannot help with.)
We may also be able to assist other organisations which provide appropriate support to people in need.
The area in which we operate covers West Reading, Southcote, Holybrook, Calcot, Theale and Tilehurst. Grants are normally made only to people who live within that area. To check whether your address makes you eligible for a grant, click on the Area Of Benefit button below.
